An eccentric fictional weekend-long comedy event based in Austin, Texas that hosts both known veterans and showcases the newest, brightest voices in queer comedy.

Challenge
Take a first-year smaller comedy festival and make a splash through eye-grabbing iconography that speaks to a queer audience and helps QCF in creating a name for itself among its peers.


Brand Identity
Being inspired by both minimalist and maximalist brutalism and its usage in websites, I knew that this style would compliment the queer concept of ‘doing the most’ and resonate with LGBTQ+ audiences. I decided to play with this style and see what I can do with scale, repetition, marquees and more and continued playing with these elements on totes and posters on the street to make a lasting impression.
